Voyager Maritime Payment Systems streamlines the procurement and payment process for the bunker industry enabling fuel suppliers to receive faster payment and buyers to maintain extended credit terms. Backed by U.S. Bank, the 6th largest commercial bank in the United States, Voyager Maritime Payment Systems assumes all credit risk within a bunker transaction.
Additional risk protection comes from free fuel quality testing provided by Lloyd’s Register fuel oil and bunker analysis service (FOBAS). The procurement and payment system is administered by Resurgence Inc.
The Voyager solution was created by US Bank in 1995 originally to serve the US fleet vehicle market. Today, Voyager Fleet Systems provides a single source solution for purchasing fuel for more than 1.7 million vehicles in over 230,000 regional, national, local and independent locations in all 50 US states.
In 2005, US Bank purchased Multi Service Aviation giving it an unrivalled capacity to service fleets of any size including automobiles, trucks, and non-commercial aircraft. Its aviation service is accepted by 7,500 aviation service providers in over 190 countries and has been voted the best fuel card by Professional Pilot magazine's PRASE survey every year since the category began in 1992.
The maritime version of Voyager was created to serve the global bunkering market and operates as a strategic partnership comprising US Bank, Lloyd’s Register and Resurgence Inc.
