Voyager Trader Platform
The Voyager Trader Platform is an adaptation of the Voyager Maritime Payment System that enables a trader to do traded stems on the Voyager system without the trader having to be underwritten and be liable for payment. The trader sets up agreements with both a Voyager buyer and a Voyager physical supplier in the normal way. The trader then enters the deals on the Voyager dashboard and receives an authorization from US Bank for the shipping company’s transaction. Once US Bank’s authorization has been received for the trader’s transaction with the shipping company, both deals are approved and the stem can proceed. US Bank pays the physical supplier for the fuel (less the interchange fee) and pays the trader their margin (less the interchange fee) and then collects from the shipping company when they make their next monthly payment for their transactions.
